You should try to spam even more to see what happens …

You still have not give a reproduction or proper logs containing the reset.

In those last logs, the app run count is 1 meaning that it was just installed or app data cleared.

This is something your device doing that as explained a couple of times not something the app have any control about.

I’m confused on, what condition creates proper logs?

Already told you logs needs to be enabled while it occurs. And you need to be able to exactly says what reser and when. But as said the 1 run count in the last one shows something reinstall or clear data .

Do you need to reconfigure the provider too when it happen ?

I don’t understand you and no i don’t need reconfigure my provider and what it resets man it’s so random for starters [retaining player state, albums showing composer instead of artists only] it actually reverts back every setting basically and just vaguely leaves my theme so i don’t know

so its done it again here are the logs: onk8900

not sure if they’re good enough or what

The logs are again empty and only containing a couple of minutes.

Again : Enable the … debug mode, wait for the issue to occurs. Then upload the logs and tell me exactly what was reverted at what time.

so here’s a link

contains the actual theme as “Raindrops” the other one as “Crash” you might see the difference

I’ll do that though because i was confused on what to switch on

its done it again, i had debug mode enabled since you advised me to but when i opened the app it was switched off along with the other customization so I don’t know if the logs will contain anything valuable

logs :romaniii900867

so the things it forgot are so many but for starters

it’s my application style it’s literally removed but its still there i guess??

within that application style its alot bro I’m sorry I’ll just drop in a few of them

  1. how the lyrics were positioned
  2. preserve play next order
  3. retain player order state
  4. disable media restoration
  5. the portrait navigation style has changed
  6. how the whole album page looked like before
  7. how the whole playlist page looked like before too

These logs are finally conclusive. Symfonium’s persistent run counter went from 469 to 20 at the same time the settings reverted. The app can only increment this counter, so the preferences were not reset normally—they were replaced with an older valid copy. This also explains why debug mode switched off and why the log stops.

The Samsung process was killed by Chimera shortly beforehand, but many earlier Chimera kills did not cause a rollback, so that alone is not the explanation. Please check for Samsung/Smart Switch restore, app cloning/Secure Folder or work-profile tools, cleaner/backup utilities, or anything else able to restore application data.

As explained since the start this is something outside of the app doing something. You need to figure out what it is and fix it’s configuration. There’s nothing that can be done on Symfonium side.
