Hi, I am trying to add songs to my favorites, but I noticed that they don’t show up in the “Favorites” section. Maybe a fluke, but it seems to work if I add the songs to my favorites through android auto.

Additional information:
The images included show:
The song before favoriting
The song immediately after favoriting
The favorites list after favoriting the song and syncing library (the song does not register in the list)
Reproduction steps:
I have tried pressing the favorite button in the player and bulk adding songs in the track list view, neither of which seem to work.
In all cases that favorite menu by default is sorted by last played, since the media is not playing it’s not played so it’s added but probably at the end.
When I try to select multiple tracks and favorite all at once, it seems like nothing happens. Maybe since they haven’t been played? I tried uploading another log, let me know if it works.
Only you can know if they are played or not…
You can change the order of that favorite row in Interface settings to sort by favorite date if you want to see the last favorited items first.
Or use your own smart playlists. But they do work.
That’s exactly what I was looking for, now my favorites show up even if I haven’t played them.
I think another reason I was getting confused is because I was getting the “favorite” and “non-favorite” heart buttons confused. To me, a favorite track should have a filled in heart, and a track that isn’t should have an outline. Is there a setting that allows me to edit this icon?
Ah, that makes sense. That would explain why when I select a a bunch of tracks (including some that I have favorited) the only option I am given is to unfavorite them. Is there any way to give the user the option to either “favorite selected” or “unfavorite selected” instead of only the option of unfavoriting? I tried unfavoriting then immediately favoriting, but I lose my selection as soon as I press unfavorite.
