I believe this problem began with the beta release; connections to my local Navidrome server (that I make available to myself via Cloudflare) said that there were format issues and too many errors to play. Oddly, this seems to be only if the phone directly is trying to play the music; if I cast to a Google speaker, it plays fine.
I uninstalled the beta, exited that program and went back to production. Now it won’t even let me login, that it’s unable to get the media provider version. Which. Nothing has changed there. And I’ve tried the only other app that does use custom headers and it has no issues connecting to or playing music from the server.
I’m really at a loss (and frankly frustrated) because I need to drive substantial distances over the course of the next week, and I can’t access my music because of these issues.

The error is about your mp4 files that can’t be decoded. Upload some of them to https://upload.symfonium.app but be sure that those files are not actually DRM files.
As I said, I left the beta due to the issues to see if production would resolve things.
And why would music that has worked for 8 months suddenly have issues? I’ve not added music in several months. These files wouldn’t suddenly go rogue on me.
Your suggestion doesn’t make sense in the context of my issues. Uploading miscellaneous songs that never had any issues in the 8 months I’ve self-hosted isn’t going to reveal anything.
There’s clearly something fundamental that changed in the app because I changed nothing on my end. Full stop.
I’l tired of this shit. Is it really that hard to read and think ? YOU UPDATED NAVIDROME … YOU UPDATED SYMFONIUM …
So either stop acting like an entitled Karen and provide the files so I can reproduce and see what the problem is or go complain somewhere else as there’s nothing I can do.
I’m done trying to be nice on people who knows better …
Yeah, well I’m fucking tired of you being ridiculously rude to anyone who dares say anything less than stellar about your app. That we *pay you" for the “privilege” to use. You are a jerk of the highest order. Being a dev doesn’t entitle you to be shitty to people. And if you don’t think that attitude problem reflects poorly on you and the app? Then you’re clueless.
Go take your app and shove it where the sun doesn’t shine. I will happily delete it and find another solution that doesn’t fund your Napoleon Syndrome.
