App is downloading all tracks (unwantedly)

Issue description:

I have configured the app to only download my “favorite” items (albums, artists, or songs), but I am finding that it is downloading my entire music library instead. This happens until my phone storage is gone.

It is downloading to the “Permanent cache”

I tried clearing the download and resetting the defaults (with respect to offline media)

App Version: 13.3.0a (127536[arm64-v8a])
Device: Pixel 9 Pro XL
Media Provider: Navidrome (Subsonic)

Reproduction steps:

  1. Open Symfonium.

  2. Navigate to the “Manage Offline Files” then “Auto Offline Rules”

  3. Set the download rule to only include “Favorites.” to permanent cache.

  4. Initiate the download process.

  5. Observe that the app begins to download all songs, not just those marked as favorites.

Well the line that says Subsonic media provider says that you have enables the option to offline cache everything from the provider. So well it does that :slight_smile:

apologies, i read that setting to mean “allow offline caching” but i understand now it was a trigger for a “full sync”
