Another nginx-proxy-manager unable to browse via internet

Issue description:

Hi Tolriq!

I’ve read many of the issues related to reverse proxy + symfonium and I’m afraid I can’t go further :frowning:

My setup: http://192.168.1.16:12000 is navidrome, then I have an Nginx Proxy Manager sitting at 192.168.1.16:81 which points to http to https://music.xxx.xxx

I can browse navidrome without issues via browser, download, all good. But symfonium doesn’t want to play. It looks like it accepts the server added, but then I can’t browse any media or search for anything.

On the docker side of navidrome, I see:

time=“2025-11-04T13:02:11Z” level=warning msg=“API: Invalid login” auth=subsonic error=“data not found” remoteAddr=79.116.XXX.XXX requestId=7f45f7289253/VhpqkgzwwL-001494 username=test
time=“2025-11-04T13:02:11Z” level=warning msg=“API: Failed response” endpoint=/rest/ping.view error=40 message=“Wrong username or password” requestId=7f45f7289253/VhpqkgzwwL-001494

Where that 79.116 is my 4G IP on my mobile phone.

I’ve tried playing with legacy auth on/off, basic auth… Tried no port but http/https (it says please edit with a correct value) tried adding /navidrome /app at the end of the url… (which is where my navidrome redirects after opening)… All possible combos and I still cannot get there.

I’m not sure if app logs got uploaded via the app, but I did generate them.

Not sure what else can I test. Hopefully you can lend me a hand!

You probably enabled a filter .

OK I didn’t have any filter set but hitting a manual scan from the filter menu started updating the library!

Sorry for the hassle and keep up the amazing work you do! It’s a phenomenal app!
