Animated album art not working

Issue description

Hello, im trying to get animated album art to work on my latest symfonium installation, I’m using a local music library inside my phone to play all my music, i have set up the cover.webp for a couple of albums. However the album art won’t animated and will show up as a static image when I load the album or play the music. Weirdly I have tried it out with jellyfin and the album art was animated, but no luck with offline music, please let me know what I’m doing wrong here. Thank you.

Steps to reproduce

  1. set up animated artwork on an album
  2. Play the album (no animation)
  3. setup jellyfin with the same files
  4. album art animated

Your logs is empty so I can’t really tell anything you need to reproduce the issue with a full sync and details, but Symfonium displays what Navidrome sends. If you do not see animated images in Navidrome web interface it won’t work in Symfonium.

Oh hey, i didn’t mention navidrome anywhere, it’s my local files and jellyfin

Turns out all I had to do was clear the cached images, the animated cover arts are working as they should, thank you yay
