Animate Play Button or Indicate when Downloading/Buffering

Feature description:

When a song is being downloaded or buffered, the play button would be animated or otherwise indicate that while no music is being played, something is indeed happening in the background.

This could be a different graphic for the button; A different color of the button; an animated ring around the button; the graphic could fill from left to right indicate where it’s at in the downloading/buffering.

Problem solved:

Currently, when a song is skipped and the next song hasn’t loaded the play button appears and is static with the triangle icon. This would indicate that it’s–in fact–paused but in reality, it’s actually playing but no audio is coming out.

Brought benefits:

A more consistent indicator of what is happening instead of showing a play button when it’s actually already playing and indicating that it’s not paused but also not actively playing sound.

It’s already there unless you play on upnp.

This is in Android Auto.

That would have been the first indication to give

Apps have no control over the interface of Android Auto. I’ll expose the buffering status to AA too, but not sure you’ll like how they display it.

Yeah, I got all excited by the questions and boxes that I forgot that one, minor part.

Thanks for the response!
