AndroidAuto setting for default library to search

Feature description:

I have two libraries (in Plex): one with only my top albums to avoid clutter, and one which includes the “back catalog”.

In the main app, it’s easy when searching to toggle libraries. However, in the limited AA UI, I can’t do that.

I would like to be able to set either for each provider, or in the AA settings, which library should be the target of search, so that I can always search my full library rather than the curated one.

Problem solved:

Being able to search all my music collection in AA search.

Brought benefits:

Overcome a limitation of the necessarily restricted AA UI; complement the main app’s filter toggles.

Possibly this could be a more generic setting, where users could preset a full search filter for AA.

Other application solutions:

Plexamp has a setting for searching all libraries (not limited to AA, presumably because their native search UI is more basic).

Sorry but there’s also many more global filters that can be enabled or not in the main app.

The filters are not just for search they are for everything, from listing to playback.

AA is an extension of the app, so the global filters that an user apply should be applied on the app extensions like AA or Wear. It would make no sense that either everything is different but they can’t touch from inside AA or that only search in AA would behave differently but not browsing / playback.

Understood, thank you for your response.
