Issue description:
When playing a song while connected to Android auto, the now playing control in the phone’s notification shade loses its buttons and playback status. If a song is selected on the phone, the car seems unaware of it (nothing shows as playing in the app and the maps + media split screen does not show symfonium at all, just spotify in it’s idle state). If a song is selected from the car, the song starts playing and the app gets stuck on the “getting your selection screen”. Also, the maps + media split screen still doesn’t show symfonium.
I’ve tested this on 2 cars (Jeep Wagoneer and Hyundai Tuscon) but only 1 phone (Samsung S25+) so it may be an issue with my phone, in which case any help would also be greatly appreciated.
Apologies if this seems poorly written. I’m on my phone and can provide more details once I’m home. I’ve attached photos of the now playing notification and the getting your selection screen along with the logs.
Thank you for your work on the app. It is by far the best, most customizable media player I’ve ever seen.
