You have some network instability and it seems Plex Server or the phone tries to reuse things and fails. Will see if I can reproduce and workaround.

You can and should enable Playback cache in Settings/Offline, Cache and download/Playback.

This will ensure a lot smoother experience when on mobile.

Ok I added the playback cache. My main concern with having it off is making sure I never use cellular data. I want to always use the cached/downloaded song on my device and wasn’t sure if the playback cache messed with that.

That option have no impact on from where the media is played from.

But in those logs you were playing from the server so unless you have enabled the option wifi only on the provider it would have play on mobile when wifi was lost.

Interesting I didn’t think I was using data. If I’m understanding your comment correctly, I don’t want to enforce wifi only on a server wide basis (Plex) but rather a device basis. Is there an option in symfonium to do that? To treat a cellular connection the same as no connection at all?

Basically on wifi, music should stream from server, everything else music should use local file.

I guess there are third party apps to block cellular data to a specific app, but that seems a little clunky.

This is done provider by provider, so in Symfonium you edit the provider and enable wifi only. This does exactly that.

Ah. Thanks for the help!
