Whenever I start playing on Android Auto, playback will continually skip forward approximately ten seconds. This occurs every few seconds, rendering the track un-listenable. Changing the track does not resolve. Occasionally, disconnecting & reconnecting the device will resolve.
I do not see any seek or error but the logs are very large as contains a hundred different days, but for today very small and does not contains a track change or anything.
It should appear in the logs today, 9/14, starting at approx 10:50 am est. I enabled debugging, connected to the car, repro’ed the issue, disconnected from the car, then disabled debugging.
Apologies for the delay. I have had this issue for weeks. I am continuing to encounter this, but every time I start to record a video, the issue is resolved, & playback is normal. I’m no Android dev, but makes me wonder if it’s related to when the phone idles?
The app gives you a link to https://dontkillmyapp.com/ if it’s an in background issue. But seeing the logs I doubt it’s that. Sounds more like an AA/ BT issue.
