You are going too fast, the switch is not instant, Symfonium needs to detect there’s a problem before, to avoid always checking everything and using more battery.
Retested after 1h, same experience.

How have you configured your host?
Oh, my apologies, I understood that information would be included in the logs.
Will share that as soon as I get access to the phone again.
I had it as:
Primary connection:
Hostname: privateemby.lan
Directory:
Port: 8096
Secondary connection:
Hostname: https://media.public.com
Directory:
Port: 443
Connection type: HTTPS
It failed as reported (LAN works, Internet doesn’t).
I just changed to
Primary connection:
Hostname: privateemby.lan
Directory:
Port: 8096
Secondary connection:
Hostname: media.public.com
Directory:
Port: 443
Connection type: HTTPS
Will give it some time test.
Also, I see only one “connection type entry”, does it apply to both addresses?, just the last one?
LAN connection is HTTP, Internet should be HTTPS

Yes an hostname should not have https:// in it in all cases
The connection type is only for the secondary connection the primary is auto detected.
Works now with the stated configuration.
I would prefer to have just the URL text boxes with the full URL in both cases. Either way, the single criteria for (primary vs secondary) would be nice in general (all split, same fields or single URL).
Moving to paid-customer-pokemon-phase. Thanks!

In edit mode you are supposed to know what you do and both are split values.
