Duplicate of a few, this only works for:
Ascii language
When sorting by title
When all the data is already loaded
So a very very small use case, and I prefer consistency usually.

Thank you. How can I change the ASCII language to make it work? Since all my data is loaded.
You missunderstood, what I mean is that function is very limited and not present.
And you have plenty of screen inside the app where the data is dynamicly loaded, so you can browse a 800 000 song list without issue.
Hi,
Since I’m using the beta version, I noticed you implemented the option to show the letters while scrolling down the artist page. Thank you so much for this.
While it still lags a bit and the app closes if you scroll down fast, it helps a lot to find the artists easier. Thanks again.

@demarkz I’d also need a video or a way to reproduce the issue.
And as that doc says, I’m not notified of uploads, I just saw them by luck, please post here when you have uploaded a video.

Do you have anything related to accessibility enabled ? Like for tasker?
Does it happen in other lists ?
Does it happen if you change the display mode to grid for example?
Edit: And do you use some password auto fill software?
No, I use stock android on Motorola g84 with almost no changes.
It happens only in the songs and artists tab, it doesn’t affect the Albuns tab.
And it affects the grid position as well.
I use password manager, but with the auto fullfil option disable. So it doesn’t take any control of the device, I only use it to save passwords.

What password manager ? Trying to repro for Google to fix.
I use SafeInCloud and Microsoft Authenticator.
Hi, Tolriq
Now I uninstalled the app and installed again and I was testing some options. Now when I choose the grid mode in the artist page it works well even the songs tab doesn’t close anymore, but if I change back the artist page to show artists in list view it breaks the app again, só I think they the issue is related to to the list view option only, since any other options work well now.

Ok well Google does not know, but they provided a quick workaround patch. Should no more crash in Beta 2.
Ok, thanks. I’ll check it out as soon as the update goes live.
HI, @Tolriq
I Just updated to last build and this issue seems to be fixed. The app isn’t closing even in list view option anymore.
Thank you very much again.
