Allowing Others to Queue Up Music like Spotify Jam

Feature description:

I think it would be very convenient to allow other people to join my music playing session and allow them to add songs from my library to the queue, similar to Spotify Jams. It would also allow people to skip songs that they don’t like when they are in the back seat of the car.

Problem solved:

I do an hour long commute daily with my roommate to work. When he drives, he uses Spotify to control the music and opens a Jam session, so that way I can queue my songs. But when I drive, he doesn’t really have any other option but to take my phone and queue songs that way. It would be killer if there were an official system that would solve this issue.

Brought benefits:

Makes my commute and car rides more friendly for people with different music tastes. Yes, they would be limited to the music I have, but I have over 4000 songs for them to choose from and it at least gives them a little power.

Other application solutions:

Spotify Jam is ideal, but the main limitation comes from the fact that songs are all from my local library(ies).

Additional description and context:

It would be sick if there was also the ability for song requests to be recorded so that way I can review what people looked for but could not find. I can just go out and find the music so I can have it for the next ride. Kind of like a formal request system. But that could be considered too far out of scope for an already difficult problem.
