Feature description:
Only root folders are allowed to be added. Many users don’t have their music set up this way. The music folder in root can and will contain other files that are not desired to be added.
Giving the option to add subfolders makes it a lot easier to add the specific folders that the user actually wants to see in their library.
Problem solved:
Adding specific folders that the user wants to add.
Makes sure that no unnecessary files are added.
Having a lot of files (over 10000 for example) in the music folder that the user don’t want to sync, but still need to be in the music folder, don’t have to be synced.
Sync time will be shorter.
Brought benefits:
Specific pick for folders and subfolders.
Shorter sync time by not being forced to sync unwanted files and folders in the music root folder.
Saves traffic by not syncing files in the music root that the user don’t want to sync.
Overall quality of life.
Other application solutions:
Other applications simply give me the option to sync a specific subfolder to the library.
