, it would be great if the default track action in the search page on media start could be customized independently of the global default action.
Problem solved:
Currently, with the default track action on media start (play with automatic queue), which is great for albums and playlists, tracks that appear on a search result will be all queued. This is not ideal and not something every user would want, as these search results may be from different artists, genres, etc. So allowing to customize this behaviour to, for example, play similar songs (based on genre) or similar artists would be much better in a lot of cases in my opinion.
Brought benefits:
Even though you can go to the song menu and start a radio or instant mix, this would greatly improve the user experience by saving unnecessary clicks and just making it a bit more intuitive, It will basically act as a “shortcut” to those options.
Other application solutions:
This will be similar to how streaming platforms, such as Spotify work, by playing similar songs.
