Additional description and context

An example would allowing customization of margins, for example this screenshot shoes the left margin in the Tracks screen being too small by default, resulting in an unsightly visual where the track art looks off-center/misaligned, and there’s no option to adjust or customize it:

Those options would be good. I edited some images to make it clearer. It would also be great if the year data could be removed

It would also be great if the background changed according to the song that’s playing, with a gradient or blur effect like many music apps do.

Yep, I queried this on Reddit recently, then figured that the support forum might be the better way to go.

I know that we’re not in competition here, but this is something that PowerAmp does really well. It includes the ability to choose from a number of different list layouts, including increased padding between list groups.

I’m a UX designer by trade, so know all too well the issues surrounding lots of content in a small space. Even opening up the padding between list groups would be a great advantage at a bare minimum, but I think you could do more.

  • Album cover size
  • Selection of primary, secondary and tertiary text strings
  • Choice of colour options for primary, secondary and tertiary text strings.
  • Customization of meta data to include in each list group.
  • Etc

I can’t begin to know how complex that might be to code, and is probably less important than new features. But it would go a long way to help viewing long lists easier on the eyes
