Album page cover size

Feature description:

Yes, it’s me… Again.. Apologies for being a kick in the.. :slightly_smiling_face:

I’ve noticed there’s a huge difference on album cover medium vs large size (as you can see in the screenshots above compared to Apple Music) I think the medium size is based on Tidal album cover page right? Having a similar album cover size similar to AM would be cool for users who doesn’t like small or too large covers, actually I think would be even more cool having margin scale bars like the now playing screen cover settings to fit all tastes

Problem solved:

Not a problem itself but comparing now playing screen settings vs pages settings, well there’s no comparison, the NPS deep customization level has no rival, amazing work Tolriq :fire:

Brought benefits:

All Symfonium users would set the album cover size as they want

Other application solutions:

Apple Music, YT Music, Amazon Music, etc. have similar album page cover size

Additional description and context:

1st screenshot: medium size vs AM
2nd: YouTube Music cover size
3rd: large size vs AM
4th: Amazon Music cover size

Christmas is almost here so I don’t expect an update like this soon but I hope this feature comes someday.

Happy holidays Tolriq :confetti_ball:

I would also love to see this. The now playing screen in Symfonium looks so super clean and streamlined, and, I think this same/similar look would look awesome carried over to the other pages in the app.

I would love this to I think the medium size is a bit to small and the larg size is super way to big

Does anyone know how I can force the album description to appear, even if it’s not in my language?

I don’t know if it’s a Symfonium bug or if @Tolriq can tell me if Last.fm doesn’t enable the description in Spanish…

I see it appears here.

I guess the album description doesn’t appear automatically like the artist description does, so you have to tag it manually. I had the similar problem and just added “DESCRIPTION" tag to the first song of the album using Mp3tag. I hope I understand you correctly and this was helpful.

Thanks, you’re right. Do you happen to have the link to that tag editor you use? There are quite a few with that name. I use one called Automatag, but it doesn’t have the option to add a “Description” within the editing process.

I don’t know if I can post links here, but you can easily google “Mp3tag" and the first link is yours. If you need further help, let me know. It’s not that hard though, when I needed it I wanted to do it with my phone, like all my music is on my phone, so I just wanted to find a phone app that can tag it, but I guess such apps doesn’t exist, so you have to use PC and Mp3tag is the most popular app for that. So you can only tag one song from the album to make the description show up, it saved a lot of time too.

Perfect, thanks for your help. It’s a bit tedious not being able to edit that section from my phone since I also have all my music on it, and having to resort to a PC for it is unavoidable.

hi,

how do you display those lyrics bars?

Hi. If you mean just how to show the lyrics, you usually have the lyrics icon you can touch and the lyrics would show up, it depends on your now playing style or if you don’t have the icon you can add it in the now playing settings.

Also there’s an option to make full lyrics to show up everytime you’re touching the album cover, for example

And by the way, so there’s no confusion. The lyrics don’t show up automatically, you have to set up them all manually using tag editors.

It’s this what I meant:
