A folder comprised of eight FLAC tracks, all of which are under the album tag of “Perfect From Now On”, artist tag “Built to Spill”, year tag “2023”, but with differing track numbers, refuses to sync with the app, no matter if I search universally, if I search under the band name, or when I look it up under the “Albums” or “All Albums” section.
Their location is in a subfolder that’s inside a folder called “Falk’s Ripped CD Collection”.
The provider in question: OneDrive
I tried the following methods:
Changing various tags (album, artist, album artist, year, track number format)
Sizing down the cover art that’s embed in each of the tracks (since the original size was approximately 2400x2400) to around 500x725
Changing the location of the eight tracks, putting them in different folders and trying to sync every time
Copying the eight tracks and pasting them in different folders, with no avail
p.s.: When looking into the Provider settings, specifically the option to exclude folders from synching, I could not even find the subfolder in which the tracks were stored (which is called “1997 - Perfect From Now On”).
Logs:
I’ve uploaded them through the app. I’m very much new to this forum so I’m not sure if the mods need to look into my account to find them; please do so if that’s the case.
They’re perfectly playable on the webplayer, yes. I tried moving all of them to various folders (e.g.: “Falk’s Ripped CD Collection”, “Música”, which is the root folder), but they’re still not being detected. Here’s the size of each one:
Sorry, but I couldn’t get the app to sync them no matter what. My workaround, however, was exporting each file through Audacity, again, in the FLAC format, and that seemingly did it, they appear now. Another thing I noticed was that, in the default File Explorer for Windows 10, I can visualize the tags for each track from the Audacity conversion correctly, but they not the ones for the original files; below are some screenshots. I’m not sure if that has anything to do with this, or if that’s just how OneDrive handles metadata sometimes to save performance.
A li’l clarification: the cloud icon with the blue outline on the second image indicates that the files are not stored in my harddrive currently, but even then, the metadata still doesn’t show up even if they’re locally available.
