Album-Artist are not displayed

Issue description:

Recently, albums no longer display the album artist consistently named in the MP3 tags, but rather a list of the artists of the tracks belonging to the album. Among other things, this means that albums are no longer sorted neatly by album artist, but instead create complete chaos. This has rendered parts of the app unusable. This problem did not exist before, when everything was fine. I haven’t found a way to change this in the settings. Can you help me?
My music is stored in a Nextcloud instance and is made available to Symfonium via Subsonic.

The data displayed is the data returned by the server from it’s API in that case.

That’s strange. I will upload two screenshots, One from my nextcloud, the other from the app. There is a big difference between the Informations in the field “Album Artist”.

Symfonium get the data from the API not from screenshots :wink:

There’s only one API, it works with all servers, and there’s no changes on it since a very long time.

Okay, let me summarize: my files are correctly tagged with metadata, and Symfonium was able to handle them correctly for a long time. But now, only Symfonium is displaying something different (in my opinion: incorrectly)—otherwise, the data is still displayed correctly. But the API, which hasn’t been changed, is supposed to be at fault?
I first noticed the problem described about a week and a half ago, but I don’t use the app every day, so it may have been like this for a while.
So I have to assume that an app that used to be good is now no longer suitable for me and I have to look for an alternative.

I know things are complicated but again, Symfonium have NO ACCESS TO THE TAGS WHEN USING SUBSONIC MODE …

So the only funny (or not) thing here is that you refuse to read what I write …

The data displayed is the data the server returns via the API.

Last Symfonium update is a month old, last Next Cloud update is a week and a half ago :wink:

But yeah blame Symfonium no problem.
