Feature description:
When creating an album smart playlist, the thumbnail of the album is taken from the first track of the album instead of the one added with the “Change local thumbnail” option. This appears the same whether you’re viewing it on the playlist, or it’s a homescreen shortcut.
Problem solved:
It looks strange to have the album thumbnail be the first track thumbnail when the first track has a different image than the rest of the album.
Brought benefits:
Matching the thumbnail to the one added at the user’s behest creates a look that best fits what the user actually wants.
