I can’t confirm cache deletion from this capture. Persistent image cache keeps artwork files on disk; images can still need to be read and decoded again after they leave memory. When enabled, the artwork cache uses an images folder under the selected offline storage location, so SD-card read speed could affect this, but I haven’t established that as the cause.
Please confirm whether “Persistent image cache” and “High quality images” are enabled, and your tablet model: the log reports SM-X820.
Could you please capture the complete sequence using the debug log guide? Enable debug mode, fully close and reopen the app, let the home images load, then scroll down the albums and return to the same covers until the delay happens. Disable debug mode and upload promptly, and reply with your app version, upload description and the occurrence time. This will help me check the cache location from startup and correlate it with the delay.
