I think every other slider I’ve come across has the fine tuning buttons now. The only slider I’ve noticed that doesn’t have them is the one for:
Settings > Playback > Personal Mix Size
UI consistency and more accurate number selection
All sliders will be uniform
Easier to select particular number
The buttons are not available on exponential sliders as it’s not uniform and there can be rounding issues. There’s many sliders like that. And for those kind of slider that can go to very high value single digit precision usually does not matter.
Anyway can enable for that one I guess users won’t complain when it increase by more than one, else I’ll redirect to you

Real talk, no need to add it if it causes issues. I just thought it was strange that the buttons weren’t there.
(Admittedly, it took me a few mins to set the value I wanted, but it’s done now and not something I’ll have to mess with enough to actually care.)
