When I play a song, it in the list no.75, I want to play another song maybe no.307, but I didn’t know its number, I just know its name, I want to search in the playlist and jump to the no.307 and play it.
I want to jump to the song and play it, it didn’t change my playlist, it will jump and play, and play next song orderly.
Problem solved:
add a search button in playlist
Brought benefits:
it will search song in the playlist, and can jump to the song you want, and it can make playlist
song number completely.
If I’m in a playlist and I use the search to play a song, it will only create a new filtered queue containing only the songs matching my search. I understand the field is called “filter” and not search, but to get my expected behavior, I need to click on the “currently playing” song, then hit queue, then hit search, which is pretty deep for a simply feature.
I would also like to request this feature for Android Auto. Currently, if I’m playing a playlist and I search for a song, it will then create a new queue with only that singular song, which is a very annoying and requires me to do way to much operations to manage my music while I’m driving.
I understand there must be a reason for search to behave this way, but to me this is not intuitive and considering there is no option to change the behavior, somewhat problematic.
