Feature description:
An option for smart playlists to compare the play and skip counts of songs so users can filter in/out songs that you skip more often than you play
Problem solved:
I am trying to create a dynamic smart playlist with songs I like listening to casually. These change over time and currently the best solution I can figure out is to filter out songs with a skip count over a certain number. The problem is this will need to change over time as I listen more and more and potentially am not in the mood for a specific song.
This feature would allow users to filter out any song that they tend to skip frequently as their music tastes change without having to manually block them from mixes or find more specific ways to filter them out
Brought benefits:
More dynamic smart playlist creation, less “heavy lifting” for users who don’t want to fiddle with their smart playlist settings all the time.
Can potentially also help users reduce the size of their music library if they don’t notice that they’re skipping a song frequently
Other application solutions:
Not sure if this exists elsewhere, I haven’t seen other smart playlist functions in the apps I’ve used
