Is there any Information regarding how Symphonium reads from the folders the album covers when they are not embedded in the Tags? I use pCloud as main media provider and noticed when cover.jpg or front.jpg are in the folder, they are automatically shown in the album cover.
I noticed though, when I have an album with multiple discs, I have to copy the image file on each folder if I want the cover shown. Even when the track list is merged, I have an empty album cover.
As you say, it’s based upon the cover image being in the same folder. You’ll need to do one of the following: copy the cover image to the folder for the second disc, embed the artwork in the music files, or rename the files so that both discs can be in the same folder. This is how every software I’ve used thus far has worked as well.
I am curious however, if you have a folder for the album so it contains: cover.jpgDisc 1/Disc 2/ would it apply the artwork with a single cover.jpg in that case? Personally, I just rename the files to 101, 102, 103, 201, 202, etc. and have them all in the same folder.
