The RETRO NANO firmware version and its current USB/DAC settings.
Symfonium’s current audio output debug information with the DAC connected and USB Exclusive active.
A comparison using one 44.1 kHz track and one 48 kHz track: is either smooth, and what rate does the DAC display?
If available, the same comparison in another player supporting exclusive USB output: does playback work and does the DAC’s displayed rate change?
Please also capture a separate debug log for Android Direct USB, starting before connecting the DAC. The supplied logs show Standard and Exclusive playback, but don’t establish what happens in Android Direct USB.
Retro nano is at firmware version 6.7, the issue is both in PC mode and Phone mode.
I tested a little more and found
when symfonium as set to → android direct usb, dac shows 48k when usb dac is connected initially, if i play 44.1k dac shows 48k, if i play 96k dac switch to 96k, but it then stays at 96k for all track (44.1, 48 etc), dac never switches down from the highest sample rate. if I only play 44.1 and 48k the dac is always at 48k (the highest played sample rate) it does not switch to lower sample rate.
Audio does not crackle in android direct usb in any sample rate track, and I can use the app with external dac and play 44.1k track even if dac is at 96k.

Usb exclusive now works perfectly on 15.1.0 beta 5. All sample rates switch perfectly, no audio issues.
==========================
Android direct usb still have issues where it does not switch down sample rate in dac.
It only switches to higher sample rate (48k to 96k), do no switch to lower sample rate automatically (ie 96 to 48k), if I pause and resume then sample rate switches to lower. (only till 48k).
It never goes down to 44.1k. But no audio choppiness issues.
