Tracks with " ' " in .WAV format causing error when casting

Issue description:

Almost every track in my library that has an apostrophes (') causes the “Error playing media, ensure that your player support it” message. These same tracks play perfectly fine locally through Sympfonium and while casting through other apps. However, when I try to cast through Sympfonium to my silent angel m1t streamer, the message occurs.

I have rescanned my library multiple times but still the same tracks

Seems your device needs some special usually not needed escaping. Will add for next release.

The latest update version 14.0.0 did not resolve the issue. The same error still appears for all tracks with “ ‘ “. Please help.

Honestly I have no idea. I’d need logs from another app that works to see how they workaround your device issue.

Thank you for the reply. I have been using Bubbleupnp as a backup and it’s been working perfectly with all my tracks. Here is a copy of the log:

Ok so he cheats and fully encode the path just in case :slight_smile: Will try something similar in next release.
