Text not transitioning to black with white background

Issue description:

(I have opened the report as requested here)
I have an issue where when the cover art has a lot of white.
With the Blur background style (combined with the Full (More pronounced) overlay at 80% (the percentage shouldn’t matter), the text stays white, making it almost unreadable.
Please refer to this for the theme file and this for the track (uploaded to upload.symfonium.app) to diagnose the problem (this is NOT the original file, since it’s copyrighted)

Additional information:

I’d rather have the background be darker for these kinds of images, than to have the text black. Like Apple Music does (as shown in the original post).

Ok so this is a little your fault :slight_smile: You set a background overlay, but then set it nearly transparent.

Since there’s a protection the app chose colors based on it. If you want the white darker reduce the transparency of the protection.

I’ll still try to fix the calculation error due to the alpha being huge.

I’ve just tried to lower is and it still looks good. I’ll remove the mention of this on my post and upload an updated version of the theme.

Sorry for wasting your time, this time I have really no idea why I chose 80% instead of 60% (which look basically the same and fixes the issue)
