Issue description

Hello,

I sent the logs from Symfonium using my forum account at around 11:00 CEST on September 12, 2026.

Configuration:

  • Synology DS718, DSM 7
  • Symfonium provider: Samba / SMB v2-v3
  • Server: 100.76.64.125
  • SMB share: music
  • Media folder: empty, meaning the root of the SMB share (this was my previous working configuration)
  • SMB username: Benoit

Context:

  • Solid Explorer connects successfully with the same settings to 100.76.64.125:445 and lists the SMB shares, including “music”.
  • DSM is reachable over Tailscale at https://100.76.64.125:5001.
  • Tailscale on the Synology is now in TUN Mode: Yes.
  • The DSM firewall is disabled.
  • SMB is configured with SMB2 as the minimum protocol and SMB3 as the maximum protocol.
  • Symfonium still cannot list the root folder of the share, and the media library remains empty.

The issue was reproduced immediately before sending the logs.

Thank you.

It’s properly scanning from that ip in the logs …

Thanks ! So, I’ve created a new connection to the same adress, and it works. But the “old” connexion (that is exactly the same parameters) doesn’t work (it has stopped working at the moment I started a sync) so I have te rescan all through the new connection, that is exactly the same as the old. I hope the playlists will remain.

The problem was ridiculously simple : I’ve tapped the media provider so it was grayed (disconnected). The solution was just to tap again on “NAS dossier musique” to have it working ! The problem wasn’t a connexion problem !
