Feature description:
A smoother transition (fade in/fade out) animation when switching between main navigation pages, similar to what is currently present when entering to any different screens from using shortcuts on the home page. Maybe also include a toggle for this kind of visual effect to either be instantaneously for those who prefer the snappy page change, or for those who would want to see a smooth change instead.
Problem solved:
To be completely honest, there is no problem that I know of with how switching between pages currently works or looks like.
Brought benefits:
It would only allow me to use the ‘Shortcuts’ shortcut on the home page for actual shortcuts instead of using it as my own navigation bar with this smooth visual effect I’m after for. I cannot think of any other benefits it would bring for different users, other than having another option for this visual transition when using the navigation bar.
Other application solutions:
Oto Music does have a smooth transition when switching between pages, I’ll upload a gif with a demonstration of it. Although, it does more than just fading into a new page by having a slight zoom-in animation for the tracks or albums that are being shown. I am not asking for that amount of detail as I don’t know how difficult it can be to program that.
