Feature description:

There has been some request in that ragards but not exactly this, so I’m writing it.

I would love to see an “import as smart playlist” feature that basically take the filter of the server and map them to Symfonium filters and duplicate the smart playlist. It should be feasible for Plex since plexamp get the criteria, no idea if it’s doable with other servers though.

If some are not 1 to 1 filter, display a warning that the playlist won’t be exactly the same.

Problem solved:

Having to rely on exports to save playlist and share them between device seems less than ideal

Brought benefits:

It would be much easier to switch to Symfonium. It would ensure to only have to make a playlist once rather than multiple or having to export import files between devices.

As in other comments. there’s too many differences and it would be a pain to maintain and detect changes and everything.

If they are small you can just import them as normal playlist online first read only and they will always be up to date when you play them.
