Issue description
Another one of these 
Specifically when Smart fades is disabled, it uses the rounded endcaps. When enabled it changes to the (correct) straight endcaps.

Steps to reproduce
Settings > Playback > Transitions
Disable Smart fades. Background is rounded and does not flow into next item.
Enable Smart fades. Background becomes square and correctly flows into next item.
