Setting 'Fortsetzungspunkt' does not work reliablr

Issue description:

Hi Guys,
sorry for coming up with this topic again. But setting a ‘Fortsetzungspunkt’ does not work very reliable.
No matter If I press the Pause Button in the app, the play/pause button on my earphones or simply remove the earphones. Sometimes it works playing a folder or single file. No idea what to change in the app. Maybe it is a bug?
Kind regards

What about better explaining your issue ? And avoiding random German words

In the logs everything works as expected. Maybe your need is to tweak the min percentage before marking played because you pause too near of the end ?

I have used the german word because I dont know this word in english language and this is how it is called in the app in german language.
I can not explain it better as i did.
The app does not saved/stores the paused title/Album reliable.
I will try tweaking the min percantage. The track you see on the buttom in the Screenshot was paused at about 20%. Maybe your advice will help

Tweaked the setting you suggested but it didnt help.
Guess i have to live with this issue in my specific case.
Kind regards

What you need to do it to actually exactly describe what you do and the issue.

In the logs you played a tons of stuff and all the resume points and played status where properly updated.

This sounds more like an usage issue than anything.

I start the app, press play either on a given file or folder, press pause in the app if I want to stop the playback. The paused track or album should appear in the list on the main screen as paused album/track.
My issue is, sometimes the paused album/track appears in this list and sometimes it does not appear in this list.
But as i wrote, guess I have to deal with it.
No problem.
Thx for your time :+1:

Well no again you need to take time to provide logs when reproducing for your issue to be fixed or explained …

I have provided a log, but i provide another one

2025-06-02 16:54:58.544 Verbose MediaStateUpdater Set resume from state change at 10935 for 02 Titel 01.mp3 [0,16/0.9]-[10935-73351/5000]

In those logs there’s resume points set at 50% for the title 01 and at 4% for title 02.
But those files are not present in Symfonium.

Have you synced the provider to have the files in the library ?

I dont use any provider. All files are stored local on the smartphone. Maybe rescanning the library will help? If so, how can i rescan the files?

Local device is a provider as the others …

Thx for the info, did not know that local devices are providers as well.
Will try syncing and see If it helps

I followed your advice and did the additional steps as marked on the Screenshot. As for now the resume points are set every time :+1:
