Sendspin support

Feature description

Open Home Foundation, which supports multiple projects, is developing an open standard for multi-room and audio casting: https://www.sendspin-audio.com/

The request is to allow playback and control of devices, so I can cast audio from my phone with Symfonium to a connected speaker which supports this (multi-room would be desirable as well, but at this point I’m good with switching to individual speakers around my house)

Problem solved

I can play from Symfonium phone and hear in a remote speaker inside my house.

Brought benefits

Supporting more ways to stream audio (among UPNP)

Device type

Phone

Additional description and context

Another interesting protocol to support is/was AirPlay, which we requested here couple of years ago Airplay Support

Adding the link to sendspin here https://www.sendspin-audio.com/ for additional context. I have a native sendspin speaker and would like to use it with symfonium!

Unfortunately this is not really easy and still quite limited.

The only way would be that Symfonium is a full sendspin server with everything from transcoding to targets and sync and well everything, that’s not really a phone job.

And then current limitations about clients being only connected to one sever and Home assistant not properly handling reclaiming clients.

This is 2027 or even 2028 stuff if that ever take off.
