Restore form backup issue

App version

Production

Issue description

After uninstalling and reinstalling the app to clear up a massive storage issue (the app data had ballooned to 234GB however odd not have any offline downloads), I restored my backup but cannot get my “Favorites” (hearts) and user data to map to my actual local audio files. All tracks are stuck as unplayable “ghost” tracks.

Device type

Phone

Media provider

Local device

Steps to reproduce

Created a full backup (including User Data and All media entries).
Uninstalled and reinstalled Symfonium to clear the storage cache.
Restored the backup.
Because the reinstall revoked Android’s SAF folder access, my “Local device” provider showed “None” for files, however when syncing it scans all music. Also multiple playlists are showing playable tracks.
I went into the Local Device provider, remov seeed the dead folder paths, and re-added the exact same three local folders to grant fresh SAF permissions.
Ran a full sync.

The sync pulled songs from my custom playlists. However All other tracks entries appear to be ghost entries.

I have ensure symfonium has all permissions

Thanks for the help!

java.lang.SecurityException: Permission Denial: reading com.android.externalstorage.ExternalStorageProvider uri content://com.android.externalstorage.documents/tree/primary%3AMusic%2FDeezloader%20Music/document/primary%3AMusic%2FDeezloader%20Music/children from pid=25223, uid=10790 requires that you obtain access using ACTION_OPEN_DOCUMENT or related APIs

You did not give permission for that one, but in all case the restore should ask you to reselect the folders.
