Primary button on bluetooth headphones has no functionality, sometimes shows additional connection bug

App version

Issue description

With Bose QC45s connected via bluetooth to my S26 Ultra running Symfonium 14.1.0 the main button on the headset does not play or pause playback. Skip and back commands also don’t seem to work.

Furthermore, when playing the same library hosted through Navidrome to my desktop client Feishin, the main volume control on my phone changes to “Media (Symfonium) (Wireless Display)” and I can only raise or lower the volume of my headphones with the buttons on the headset directly or by entering the volume menu within the Android UI to lower the bluetooth volume.

Steps to reproduce

(To reproduce the play/pause issue)

  1. Connect bluetooth headphones
  2. Start playback
  3. Press primary button on bluetooth headphones to play/pause/next/previous

(to reproduce volume button to other display issue)

  1. Connect Symfonium and Feishin (could maybe be reproduced with other platforms/clients) to the same library hosted through Navidrome
  2. Playback any track on desktop
  3. Playback on Symfonium
  4. Attempt to change volume using the physical buttons on phone

I used the automatic log upload, I apologize if I did it incorrectly.

This is 100% unrelated to Symfonium, the app is not aware of what you do on your desktop, you are maybe connected to both devices at the same time and the Bose app or something break things.

The app properly push everything for the OS to properly send the commands, something outside the app intercept and do things.

I figured it out. Re-paired my headphones and finished setup within the first party Bose app. Seems to have fixed both issues.
