Playback sometimes won't resume

Issue description:

Sometimes when I resume a playlist, instead of playing the track I will get a spinning circle progress indicator around the play button, but the track won’t actually begin. I have to switch tracks to get it to actually start playing anything. I have uploaded a log of this happening, I had to leave debugging open for a few days to capture the error, but the problem occured at appproximately 11:20 on 2025-03-04 in the log.

Possible relevant details: The files are local on the device, but cached from Navidrome. Playback is resumed using an API call from Tasker after connection to a bluetooth device.

From the logs the cache is not used as you have the option prefer server version on Wifi.

And the server timeouts when trying to play from it.

Ah, thanks! I’ll have to look in to why it timed out. The brings up a different question though. How does it choose between primary and secondary connections for each provider? I have primary as my local network IP and secondary as the external IP. In Musicolet for example, there’s an option to use a specific IP when connected to a certain SSID. Does Symfonium do anything like that? I didn’t see any similar settings

Musicolet does not have Internet permission

But Symfonium switch when it can’t connect, there’s many discussions about why SSID is not used as require precise location permission.

Sorry, I meant DSub! I used to use a combination of both before I switched to Symfonium!
