Issue description

Hi,

I recently downloaded your app, and am currently on a free trial period until October 9rh. I would like to purchase this app, but I am having an issue.

This app will not reliably connect to my Schitt audio magni mesh DAC amp combo from my Pixel 11 phone.

The music tracks will not play, pausing at the zero or one second.

My phone doesn’t seem to be the issue, as it is able to successfully connect to an AudioEngine DAC amp.

The Schitt audio magni mesh DAC amp combo is also able to successfully connect to a Chromebook.

I tried troubleshooting using Google Gemini, and it concludes that:

“The Schiit Unison USB chip is an uncompromising asynchronous USB Audio Class 2 (UAC2) receiver with extremely strict isochronous clock requirements. On Pixel devices, the USB host stack drops or resets the USB clock line during track initialization, sample-rate switches, or when transitioning between audio streams. When Symfonium attempts to open/re-initialize the direct USB endpoint for FLAC files without continuous clock synchronization, the handshake fails, causing the playback engine to throw a media error or freeze.”

Are you able to assist with this?

Kind regards.

Hi Vin, your uploaded logs are from Symfonium 15.0.1. Version 15.1.0 includes a fix for USB exclusive playback on Pixel 11 devices, so please update to 15.1.0 or newer and retry with the Schiit DAC.

If playback still stalls after updating, please share fresh debug logs using this guide:

Enable debug mode before connecting the DAC, reproduce the complete sequence, then disable debug mode and upload promptly. Reply with the upload description and reproduction time, including your time zone. Thank you for your help.
