When I get a notification from another app, what I am playing gets quiet while the notification goes off, then comes back to normal volume. The issue with that is that I miss some of what I’m listening to - which is fine if it’s a song but not great if it’s an audiobook or podcast. Is there a setting to have playback pause rather than get quiet during notifications?

Settings → Playback → Audio focus → Short audio focus action

You want to set this to **Pause**
