Option to fully hide controls and info from Now Playing Screen

Feature description:

Thanks for adding that feature Tolriq.

Actually can be enabled only in NPS settings so I think would be cool if we could enable that option directly from the NPS maybe with a gesture (swipe left or right), double tapping or long pressing on the controls or the title, and viceversa to disable it

Problem solved:

Having to go settings everytime the album cover looks “messy”

Brought benefits:

I think people who likes showing full cover in their NPS wants a “clean” set up but sometimes the album cover design it doesn’t help

Another way to implement this feature is respecting the album horizontal gesture while lyrics are showing instead create a new one, and adding “Hide Controls and Information” as a new option. Actually once the lyrics are showing the horizontal gesture is “disabled”
Is this intentional or a bug?

I’m sorry but I have no idea what you mean with your issue.

For the last part, I’m also lost, you can’t enable lyrics over cover without a button to avoid being lock and unable to toggle back.

The lyrics are always present even with instrumental tracks (marked as Instrumental), but, in this mode the album cover horizontal gesture is “disabled” so would be cool if not

Directly from the Now Playing Screen using the album cover horizontal gesture, actually the only gesture available is to change the track

While my Now Playing Screen looks “clean” at most cases, there are some album covers like this

Where the controls and Information and the album design are mixing and it looks “messy”, so I prefer to hide controls and info

As I said before I’m pretty sure other Symfonium users might find this gesture useful, to just change the track or to hide elements from the Now Playing Screen as me.

There’s another ways to achieve this but first let me know what you think

Sorry but you abuse the system a little.

You can still use the swipe up to toggle the lyrics to change track or the swipe up to show the queue and click the media you want to play.

My apologies, I didn’t try to abuse :slightly_smiling_face: Salt player has a similar gesture so I thought would be cool have this in Symfonium. Thank you anyway I’ll use the queue option
