Feature description:
Currently, if I open the page for a composer and from that page click on an album, it takes me to that album filtered down to only tracks composed by that composer, with the “Composed by ____” filter box at the top of the list of tracks.
If I open the page for an artist and from that page click on an album, it takes me to that album with no filtering.
It would helpful if filtering could be applied when clicking on an album from the artist page similar to the filtering currently applied when clicking on an album from the composer page.
Problem solved:
Right now, as far as I can tell, the only way to get a page with the tracks an artist appears on is to click on the Top tracks link from the artist page, assuming that that page lists all tracks the artist appears on, in order. This can then be sorted by album to get the information described above.
However, this is somewhat clunky, especially if an artist is on a large number of tracks. It would be nice to be able to access this information directly on the page for a single album, just as you can for composers.
Brought benefits:
Allows the user access to more detailed information about the tracks a given artist contributed to, in an easier to use format.
