Issue description
The number for the first track is missing for multiple albums (not all). Track numbering begins with track #2 onwards, but lists it as if that track is track #1 - while the field next to the real track #1 is empty.
All of my music was tagged with Mp3tag on PC and then copied over to my phone to be stored locally. I have verified in Mp3tag that all of these albums are numbered correctly in their metadata tags, and I have also verified that track numbering is displaying correctly in other programs such as Musicbee on PC and Poweramp and Musicolet on android.

- Open album.
- View track list.
Additional information
Attempted troubleshooting steps I have performed so far:
-Cleared app cache in phone settings, rescan library.
-Cleared tag cache under Manage Media Providers > Local device > Edit > Clear tag cache. Then rescanned library again.
-Deleted music from phone, chose a handful of albums that were both affected and unaffected to verify track list metadata in Mp3tag and then copied those to phone. All affected albums continued to be affected and unaffected albums continued to be unaffected.

Your log is empty, but if the track number is 0 then this is normal as 0 is not a valid track number and so hidden.
Hmm I’m not sure why the log is empty, but I tried running it again and resubmitted it as “Number of first track missing2”. Please let me know if that changed anything.
Unfortunately, the tracks are not set to 0, but are all definitely set to 1 everywhere I pull up the albums except for Symfonium. I notice that when I check the details tab, there is just a dash where the track number should be.
I need logs containing a full sync and upload the file to https://upload.symfonium.app
Alright I ran a sync and sent the log for that over. Hopefully I did that right. Please let me know if there’s anything else I can do/send!
Upload the wma files to https://upload.symfonium.app/ they indeed have 2 track numbers in each tracks.
What do you use to tag them ?
Done. And I use Mp3tag on my PC (Windows 11, if that’s relevant) for tagging before copying them to my phone.
Ok so yes the file have 2 times the track number field …
Can you show what mp3tag show ?
How strange. This is what I see in Mp3tag. Do you happen to know where I might check to see if I can remove the duplicate that you are seeing on your end?
Ok so after digging in the files it seems mp3Tag write the normal tag and also the previous should not use when using the new one tag that is 0 based. Probably for compatibility purpose.
Next version will properly ignore the legacy ones when the new one is present.
