Now Playing: allow text above album image

Feature description

It would be nice to be able to place text (like artist or album name) above the artwork on the now playing screen.

Problem solved

No problem to solve just another display option.

Brought benefits

Allowing more customizable options is always a good thing.

Other application solutions

Not sure if other apps allow this.

Sorry, i phrased that too vaguely. Requested it too late at night.

you’re right, the top bar does exist, and has quite a few options, but I meant allowing to place strings above the image:

Strings allow more sizing options and most importantly the top bar shares click actions for the two categories you choose. Whereas the strings can each have their own. Or if I want to put the bottom bar row of icons up top, I don’t believe i can also have the top bar categories above the image.

Hey @Bigmack3000 the top bar allows custom strings/text, go Top bar settings->Title text->Custom, also you can set custom click/long click action for it

Ha, alright I’m too deep in now so I might as well keep going.

Is there a way to get that bar at the top, have the album name / artist top bar under it, and both be above the image?

I was asking about strings because then I could quick click one for the album and quick the other for artist. It’s obviously not the end of the world to make one a long click, but was just curious about the possibility.

And since I’m here might as well fully pack it in. I have the composed bar set up with {compsed by %composer|composer!=artist%} so it doesn’t show up when composer is empty, but how do i have the empty space removed in that situation? I have space evenly selected.

And then people say that I’m mean but seriously WTF have you even took 1 sec to try ?

Way more efficient than loosing time writing novels here making me losing even more time …

Honestly I really tired, again, ao can’t take people by hand for the price of a coffee …

Uh, I’ve never said you were mean, and I haven’t been mean or rude either. I have tried to set it up how I’m describing. I’ll say your example is not what I was trying to do. I’m trying to even out the info above and below the image. But I’m not trying to cause frustration, so I’ll stop asking. I’ll take it to discussions instead.

Sorry too many dumb people those days.

In that case it’s a duplicate and not possible as too many sizing issues.
