Not playing Claimed support, tried reinstall

Issue description:

Yesterday (now 2 days because overnight) I had an issue trying to play music. I had no issue before. It was saying my phone could not play that file type? This is weird as my phone certainly can play flacs, and had played those files many times before. I uploaded the logs from wothin the app, but had decided it was probably just a reset thing.

Then after trying restarting the phone and the app multiple times I was a bit frustrated, and tried reinstalling the app. I wasn’t too worried about the music I had downloaded as I have fast enough network, and I could always use refreshing my ui layout.

There is one issue I noticed when I logged back in however. . . Playlists. I have spend hundreds of hours working on my playlists, some of them freshly on Symfonium, and some of them updating from the main server. I thought I was in the clear as I made sure to sync, and it seemed to say all clear first. Now however after the reset I am seeing my playlist at points not at all how I left them.

Is there any shot of a leftover auto back? (Highly unlikely) Or at least a way to make sure my playlists sync with the server when the app seems to imply it does? Or automatic app backups?

Sorry if rambly, it’s late and I think I lost probably multiple days worth of time making wonderful and genuinely useful (for me) playlists organizing my music.

Unfortunately no, full app install seems to have fixed my playback issue, and issue of seemingly being almost finished with going through the VgMegamix winter albums.

You need to import the playlists as online first if you want automatic syncs. Else you need to sync when you change.

And no there’s no automated backups, you can do them manually of use the API to automate them. (Symfonium API (Allow control from other apps like tasker))

Little confused as to what you mean by online first for automatic syncs.

The playlists I was most worried about had already existed on Plex, and I was merely adding to them, but I see none of the edits server-side.

As for the backups, I guess I could get it more consistent basic usual. Maybe task setup once I redo the server stuff properly in containers.
