New User - takes more than 1 minute to start playing (load queue) after plugging in headphones, connect to Android Auto, or via app

Hi there. I just installed Symfonium yesterday (like a lot of people looking for a replacement for Rocket Player), and love all the great functionality, however there is one issue I’m having that I hope can be overcome.

I noticed that a while after pausing play / removing headphones, after a certain amount of time (sometimes within a few minutes, sometimes 30 minutes or more) the currently playing queue is no longer “active” (e.g. get “Nothing Is Playing” message in widget). Then when plugging back headphones (or reconnecting to Android Auto or pressing “play” in the app) it takes more than 1 minute for playback to resume (and I’m assuming this time is for reloading the queue).

Is this normal / expected? I do note that the queue I am playing is quite large (30,000 songs). I have tried to search this forum / Reddit for similar issues, and have read some suggestions (which I’ve implemented) like turning off “Battery Optimization” and allowing the app to run in the background, but it hasn’t had any positive effect. I also note that all my music is local, stored on the SD card of my phone.

What I really wonder about is why the queue even goes inactive (I’m thinking it must be for battery preservation?). However in Rocket Player (and other apps) the previously playing “queue/list” remains visible (e.g. in widget) and playback will begin immediately even days later.

I’m hoping there is some “setting” that will resolve this issue, as I don’t think I will be able to continue with the app if I have to wait more than a full minute for music to start after plugging in headphones, using android auto, etc.

Thanks.
