Issue description
I am experiencing an issue where a solid background color is being drawn directly behind the system navigation bar, instead of the app rendering edge-to-edge or keeping the bar transparent to match the UI theme.
This breaks the visual continuity of the application’s minimalist layout at the bottom of the screen.

Steps to reproduce
- Open Symfonium.
- Navigate to any main screen (Home, Library, or Now Playing).
- Observe the system navigation bar area at the bottom of the screen.
Additional information
I am on a custom rom, crdroid android 14.
I have used other apps and music apps specifically where edge to edge works just fine with no background being drawn over system nav bar and I’ve also written some of my apps in flutter and managed to make them edge to edge so I believe something can be done to fix this.
