I found a couple of small problems with a local device playback:
After adding a custom local device source I cannot seem to remove it - I only get an option to favorite it. For comparison I also have a subsonic source and I can remove it just fine
After adding a local device source all songs that were there at the point when it was added work fine, but for any songs added afterwards I don’t get a progress bar on the widget in the pull-down menu - the one where you can quickly rewind the song and see the current song progress without opening the app itself. The songs play fine, the issue is just with the lack of progress bar.
I would greatly appreciate it if you could look into this. Thanks in advance!
However from the files tab there is an inconsistency, between Local device and Subsonic. I expected that both would work more or less the same. I can only remove a source for Subsonic:
It’s not a big deal if I can at least remove it from the provider settings. What about the other issue though? No matter how I add the local source and how I play the files, the progress bar doesn’t appear in the widget for songs added later on. I need to remove the source and add it again for the progress bar to appear in the widget for newly added songs.
You actually can’t remove them, the menu should not be there
And since your log is empty I can’t know for the second issue, but you need to sync the provider after having adding the source properly in the provider settings.
