# Jellyfin: Favorites not being automatically synced?

I made a post here about how to trigger a sync using Tasker:

Not ideal for me that an external tool with fiddly setup is needed for this but ok.

I still have the feeling that in some way Symfonium is doing a sync on its own from time to time. But I am not sure about it and I do not dare to ask.
