Feature description
As the available options and app settings continues to grow, quickly finding the one that you’re looking for becomes a more tedious exercise. Implementing a search bar would allow the user to quickly locate relevant settings by typing a keyword, eliminating scrolling through menu after menu.

More easily execute changes to desired app behavior/appearance, quickly implement fixes to known issues that have already been posted by other users and resolved.
Other application solutions
The Android settings menu is a good example: typing a keyword returns a filtered list of matching settings and coming brings you to that setting directly. Alternatively, could at least display the path where the setting is found for manual navigation.
